On 1st April, from Granville Theatre, Ramsgate, on the outward leg of this 6 mile leisurely walk, Lesley led the group through Ramsgate Community Memory Orchard for a quick drink stop (and chocolate, thanks John). The featured tree, in the photo of the garden, had been plated some years ago by the son of one of our walkers as part of his Duke of Edinburgh Award. The walk continued on to The Viking Ship at Pegwell Bay, where there was another stop for coffee/snack and the company of two lovely piebald ponies, before heading back to the Granville Theatre starting point.
