Sixteen East Kent Rambling Club members recently enjoyed a 4 night walking holiday at HF Peveril of the Peak in Derbyshire. The food and accommodation were excellent and the weather was very kind with no rain during the day and a pleasant temperature. There was a choice of three walks every day, of verying lenths and difficulty, allowing people to choose the walk most suited to them and the experienced leaders were first class.

High points of the visit were the Foresters Memorial at Crich, the trams at the Crich Tramway Museum, the caves and stepping stones at Dovedale, the view over Alstonefield, near Ashbourne and the climb to the Trig Point at the top of Loosehill.
