On 1st April, the long walkers set off from Brogdale Farm, passing through hop fields, past old workers’ huts where work was being done on the current hop lines and on past the Church at Norton Court; a quick lunch stop at Painter’s Forstal before completing the 9 miles having enjoyed the cowslips, pear blossom and other spring glories en route.\
